"I stayed at the property recently for 3 months. While the property is getting a bit old, however, management seems to try its best in the upkeep and maintenance. Room sizes are a bit small, and ceiling lights are not sufficient, leaving corners of the room dark. Makes the room look even smaller than it is. The staff was good and friendly. "What a gem of a hotel. Ideally situated near a quiet part of the Ganges in a rural part of Varanasi, yet not so far from the activities of the road system. "Like: Location walkable into town and the rock carvings. On a large plot running down to the sea and huge pool. Cottage was spacious with view over golf course to the sea. Staff friendly and helpful. Large comfortable bed. Dislike: Sunbeds need renewing. 2 of stairs into pool broken. Litter not cleared away.No chairs/ sun beds on the beach and unfinished buildings next to the beach. Resort needs some TLC which may have started as lobby area being renovated."

Impressive hotel and staff

"We spent 12 days at the hotel. The 1 bedroom apartment was impeccable, and very comfortable. The staff are very helpful, efficient and accommodating . Check in and check out was easy. There are several options for dining at the hotel. The dishes at the buffets and a la carte dining are well curated and substantial. The fine dining restaurants are all exceptional. The in-house spa is luxurious, the staff and treatments are professional.The pool and surrounding gardens are beautiful. The hotel takes security very seriously, and we felt safe at all times. We will definitely stay there again."
