"We had a great time site seeing, shopping and walking the beach. I really liked sitting on the balcony and seeing the ships come through. There was no eating utensils that we could find, so yake your own. The bed needs to be fixed or replaced due to being so noisy from squeaking almost every time you move. The balcony door needs attention...its hard to open and close. Elevator inspection expired last year."

"We stayed 5 nights at Shipyard resort which was wonderful. The checkin process and resort facilities were excellent and included bikes and a thoughtful list of provisions for the property, beach towels etc. so would recommend the property. However, they took a deposit on checkin which they said would be released at the end of our stay so not impressed when they charged me on the checkout day. Once home, I had to call them 3 times and sent 2 emails to the manager asking for a refund which were...

"First the good stuff. Good location on the island, though we had a heck of a time finding our actual unit. The complex is quite confusing. And knowing where exactly to park was confusing as well. Quiet. No loud party goers. Very nice ocean view and just a boardwalk away to the water. Excellent restaurant "The Deck". The best meal we had in both Savannah and Tybee. Braised short ribs were the best ever. Pretty clean. Comfortable beds. Now the not so good stuff. The pictures online are deceiving....
