"Very disappointing stay. This photos show a pleasant hotel with sea views. What we had was a view of the sea with a very ugly old half built building obscuring the view. The receptionist was surly, abrupt and generally unpleasant. No welcoming smile, I felt like we were a burden. The room was full of mosquitos. "We were able to use this lovely hotel as a base to explore Vai Beach and surrounding areas, then Ierapetra the next day. One thing I really like about the hotel is that they let you check in as early as noon, and not leave until noon. The patio facing the water was very nice. Many people were sitting outside enjoying the sound of the waves and the breeze. "
