"A beautiful, historic building right in the East Village of Cambria, so easy walking to shops and restaurants. A quick drive to the coast, too. Our favorite part was spending time reading in the beautiful garden outdoor spaces. The breakfast is definitely memorable, and the hospitality was exceptional. Would love to come back. The detached bathroom for the upstairs rooms seems a bit awkward at first, but we never had any problems, and everything worked fine."

"Loved how it took me back in time. The only thing was not being told up front or in an email how to find the keys . But if you ever have done an Escape Room, where you have to find clues to get out, or in this case to get in, then you will be OK. While i was there i did see a few confused bewildered older people walking around the property trying to figure out how to get to their room. Was kinda funny..but overall was a?pleasant experience "

"Very cozy hotel right across from Moonstone Beach! Jack was very welcoming and gave us a great recommendation for dinner. Breakfast was delivered to our room—yummy! Bed was so comfortable and the room was wonderful. Wish we could have stayed longer!"

"Quiet, comfortable room with high ceilings, partial ocean view, and fireplace. It would be nice to have some throw blankets available in the room to enjoy outdoor views and would be nice indoors as an option as well. We appreciated the refrigerator and microwave oven in the room as well. We would definitely go back to this property again in warmer months."

It is extremely dog-friendly, providing blankets, bowls, treats, and a take-home bag containing a silicone bowl, tiny flashlight, and a poop bag dispenser.
