Sierra de la Laguna, Baja California Sur hotel rooms at the Los Cabos 0906

"The food is good and actually tasty. While theres not a lot of options, the food that is available is quite good. Theres one issue that i did not like, and that is that from 11 to 12, there are no food options!! The restaurant closes at 11, and the snack bar doesnt open intil 12. "

"This place is amazing. Staff very nice and accommodating. Resort is secure so we feel very safe. Also located in marina so lots of dining options within walking distance. We have been coming here for years."

"Beautiful property with numerous pools, we had large one bedroom suit with two bathrooms. Loved the fact they they gave us a lot of towels and all the amenities. Very luxurious. Close to the marina, 10 min walk. Beautiful view of the ocean with whale sightings. This is no swimming beach due to a large waves and strong tides. The only disappointing thing is food. It was mediocre for such high end resort. Very basic with little variety. "

"Exterior of building needs some repairs. Saw grouping of 5-6 rooms that were in total disrepair from looking at their balconies. Pool needs cleaned more often, lots of dead flies in the water. "

"The Solmar resort was OK. The staff was the best part- very friendly and helpful. The resort itself is older so the amenities are outdated- the shower didn’t drain well, the sheets were itchy, the windows shook at night with the wind, no extra locks on the doors. It is also located on the side of the ocean where you cannot go in so do not stay here if you want actual beach access"

"The hotel itself is great, but you will need some transportation to go anywhere outside the hotel. It is not possible to just go out for a walk as it sits on the side of highway"
