"This is a very big hotel right on the Pacific Ocean on a beautiful beach but because of the rip ride it is dangerous and you have to sign a waiver so they let you get into the water. It has three large pools and a lot of family entertainment which can get loud and crowded during the day. The rooms are very spacious and it's quiet at night, friendly and helpful staff. "

"This is our second time at this resort. Unfortunately, they lacked activities throughout our stay. New Year's entertainment ended at 9pm. I remember them having dance competitions during lunch and themed dinner parties with music. There is no mini bar in rooms and all food/drink service ends at 10pm. The room was super clean and comfortable with a great view. Unfortunately it lacked some amenities that I've recieved at other resorts that I would love for Solmar to offer."

"My husband went for breakfast. He sat for 15 minutes before getting coffee and then waitress never came back to get breakfast order. Room fan did not work and very dated rooms. "
