Shannon, Ireland hotel rooms at the Great National Hotels

"I arrived late after work and being on the road for a few hours. I had missed the cutoff for barfood by a few minutes but reception called them and placed an order for me which was ready at the bar 10 mins later. Check in was fast and efficient with very friendly and polite staff. Room was clean but the heating was overpowering and I had to turn off the radiator. The bathroom was clean and my only single complaint was the shower head as the water flow was poor and the nozzles could probably do...

"I was attending an event at the hotel and decided to stay overnight, rather than face a late night drive home. All the staff members I interacted with were extremely helpful, friendly and very professional. My room was on the ground floor and was superb. The bed was so comfortable. The room was large and very well decorated and very clean and tidy, I had a cooked breakfast the following morning and this was excellent."

"One night stay for visit to see Santa in Elf Town in Galway. The hotel was spotless. The staff were Friendly. The pool had the warmest water of any pool I've been in and we have a lot of pools in Killarney area. The kids loved every minute. The breakfast was lovely. We would definitely stay there again. "
