"Liked the view from the room window accross the loch, and has a great location only a few minutes drive from fort william. The staff were friendly especially the cleaner who came running out after me to say id left my toothbrush behind. Not too impressed by the room itself though, it was a bit tired looking with stains on the carpet and rusty brown bits in the shower screen. Also the walls are thin enough to clearly hear neighbouring guests. To be fair it wasnt an expensive hotel so its not bad...

"Really enjoyed our two-night stay in one of the turret suites. The hotel was still beautifully decorated for Christmas but very peaceful being a few days after Hogmanay. Overall condition of the building is excellent, especially given its age and historic nature, which must make it a real challenge to maintain. "Had a lovely stay with my partner and our dog. The scenic view room was massive and worth paying the extra for. The breakfast buffet was good with all needs catered for. The hotel is extremely dog friendly with dogs being allowed in the bar area. The singer for entertainment was also very good. Only negative is some of the building is looking a little run down but there were signs of maintenance taking place e.g. painting. We loved our stay and would return. "

"The Glenburn Hotel has outstanding views from the hotel restaurant / lobby area, so I enjoyed it as much as I could since my room looked on to the roof, blocking the view. A little misguided from the outstanding photos on Expedia. The staff were very accommodating and welcoming and I really enjoyed my walks in the lovely area of Rothesay. This coastal town allows you to feel disconnected, without having to be too far from the mainland. I would definitely suggest taking a taxi from the ferry...

"Fantastic. We stayed at the Highlands Suites 2 years ago and that was great but this was better. Amazing location, easy to find and navigate. Clean, well appointed and spacious for our family of 5. Grocery Shopping at M&S is always an adventure, restaurants on the river are easily walkable and Main Street shopping is right outside the door. Parking is offsite at the Eastgate Ctr but worked fine. Much less Agro than on premises parking at Highlands Suites. Excellent, Excellent… highly recommend. "
