Castle is located near Caen city. This little village is very nice everywhere the houses are builded with white stones. The castle is a mix of several architectural. Renaissance, gothic. Interesting guided tour.

"A terrific hotel, really nice atmosphere, beautiful buildings. The only downside was that the breakfast could have been a bit better. It was ok but if you made coffee and cooked eggs or an omelette to order on top it would have been perfection. Would definitely stay here again."

"Best Western Royal Hotel was a superb place for our stay in Caen. The facility itself was well designed, very clean and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast was well prepared and prompt. There are several restaurants with walking distance. The staff were fluent in English which was especially helpful for us. We would definitely stay there again."
