Great property and staff were very accommodating. The front desk called me when I landed to let me know the kitchen was closing and if we wanted pizza since we would arrive late. The pizza was waiting in our room. And on the last night (Christmas Eve) we asked the staff in the restaurant if we can get some local food. They were so happy to oblige. The rooms were so nice with lovely balconeys overlooking the gardens. They have night time sea turtle experts who will let you see the turtles coming back and forth from dropping their eggs. The food is good and the service is awesome.

Not much activities to do there and around the area but theres a big landscape for creating your own picnic, etc. the food was ok, not much of a variety mainly caribbean cusine. Beautiful site on a cove facing the Atlantic. The staff are great and very knowledgeable and helpful. Leatherback turtles nest in the cove and the staff work with a conservation group to facilitate turtle watching. Excellent place to base our visit in Dominica.

This is an absolutely beautiful and special place. Our room/suite was huge inside with a nice sitting area, a gigantic bathroom and very large bedroom. Wraparound balcony. The beach faces east to the Atlantic and mostly no one is there, outrageously gorgeous. Sunrise is spectacular. The restaurant has very nice freshly made food, very thoughtfully prepared, tasty. Less local-style cuisine than we would prefer and not a super wide array of options for vegetarians staying for 5-6 days but still very enjoyable and they are very accommodating. Fantastic included breakfasts. Pool is great, small but few people using it, and very nice, clean, good temperature. The grounds are beautiful, lush green with flowers, and the sounds (birds, frogs etc) are fabulous. The river is very pretty going down to the sea. The gym is cute and we did use it. There is no AC in it and the humidity is intense to work out in but I was glad for the opportunity. This is not the place for people looking to be around populated-type activities like going out to eat, and not easily accessible to the west coast tourist attractions. It’s also not a luxury-type resort with fancy-place vibes. This is for you if you are looking for remote, quiet, reasonably-priced real nature spot that is unique and special and has a local feel to it. Clean and comfortable and incredibly peaceful with stunning natural beauty.

This property is so tranquil and eco-friendly. We feel like we are in the midst of nature and wake up to add lol sorts of birds, lizards, and rainforest sounds. This is our second time staying at this property and it looks to be further maintained and cleaned up since our last stay. We love the pool as well and do many great hikes nearby if you know who to ask and can get a guide for the tougher ones. You should have a car to truly enjoy everything around!

Delightful nature retreat
What an amazing retreat! I was delighted with my stay in Rosalie Bay Eco Hotel and Spa. The grounds were so peaceful and full of wildlife. The river was accessible and full of fish. I found time to relax on the beach although the Atlantic is a lot stronger on this side of the island, so no swimming. Thank you to Daryl for taking me to see relatives in La Plaine and to Diana for an amazing relaxing aromatherapy massage. There is a wide variety of tasty food in the restaurant and the staff are friendly and very helpful. The pool is peaceful and a great way to cool off as well as the morning rain.

We had a wonderful stay at Rosalie Bay Eco Resort. The experience of waking up early and walking around the property renews the mind - so calming and inspiring. The rooms are well designed and along with the beautiful outdoors really give the property that eco-friendly feel.
