The lobby and elevator are dirty. The room was beautiful and very clean. Excellent friendly and professional staff.

The photos on the profile was misleading. Property is quite dated and shown wear and tear everywhere. In the positive side, bedding are very comfortable. Shower Water pressure pretty weak. Location is unbeatable . Parking cost C$55 per night. Street parking is available surrounding the hotel but be sure to move the car in the morning or pay up.

This was our first time staying at Sutton. We normally stay elsewhere in Vancouver. The indoor swimming pool is what first brought us here in the first place but our actual stay was great. Location is close to a lot of eating places and Robson. Walking distance to a lot of shopping places as well. The pool is open very early and closes very late, which is perfect for us. We love to go swimming during off hours. Otherwise, the pool is very busy during mid afternoon but mind you, it was spring break. The room itself is a little smaller than we’re used to and the only gripe I have is that there’s no fridge or microwave. Staff were very friendly and hotel is very clean. We did have a huge carpet stain in our room and also blankets, pillow cases and towels had stains on them. We were a bit put off by it. I think if something is stained, don’t use it. Otherwise, we had a good stay. Would recommend.
