This hotel has been completely remodeled and any reviews before February 2025 are no longer valid. It is fabulous. Everything is new and clean and well thought out. The staff are caring and friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The location was super convenient. Situated immediately infront of the ferry terminal. The room was disappointing. Dirty mirror, garbage on the floor under the bed, stained bed sheets & towels, water pressure was terrible in the toilet, backed up with every flush. Decent view, and a quiet stay. Wifi was solid.

This is an old hotel in a great location next to the ferry dock. It’s not fancy, but it is clean and comfortable and the price is excellent. If you’re only in Powell River to catch the ferry it’s perfect. Save your money to spend elsewhere.

Little more run down than we were expecting, but very close to the ocean and ferry for convenience. Wish the restaurant and lobby were open. Not the greatest beds, but a good high pressures shower. Overall, alright place to rest your head for a night.

Its an old hotel . Rooms are basic. Air conditioning ok. If you are in town and just need a place to stay after hard day of work. Or if you cannot find any other place to stay. It is situated close to many good restaurants.

Our stay
The hotel is needs major upgrades, the upside the beds were clean and comfortable, no screens on the windows, one window nearly fell out when being opened. Major stairs we are all in our late 70’s to a hike up for the faint hearted.
