The two main pools are really big and the pool exercise and fashion shows were really good. The small shops in the hotel were great too. Food/restaurants were brilliant. "We had a lovely stay at the apartments. Everything was great. Apartments themselves were great, we had paid bit more for the one with aircon. Just to be aware there are lots of stairs to get to rooms. Lift everywhere so you can always get to it but it takes time so we mostly walked as we didn’t mind that. We had hired a car so could go elsewhere, otherwise you would need taxis. Small issue in wardrobes, no full length hanging space for dresses!...

"The hotel is both imposing and stunning, but sits well amidst beautifully landscaped pools and tropical gardens of swaying palms and parrots in the trees. Best location, close to lots of shopping/restaurants and the beach and dunes. The Unique Club breakfasts were fantastic, but overall the food offering is rather average, but the prices are fairly reasonable for a hotel of this class. Most of the staff are very friendly and helpful."

"Basic apartment but provided everything we needed. Excellent power shower and double sinks were good. We didn’t select a room with a terrace and didn’t miss it as went to beach each day - 30 minute steady pace walk away. Lack of receptionist wasn’t ideal but was able to telephone number posted on wall and they sent someone over. Rooftop pool area was clean and never had many people at it. Includes to Cabana type beds at no cost. Location is around half way between sea level and very top....
