"Ok so we have stayed for a 2nd time. Lowest price in the area by far. There is ample parking but you may end up out back, looks rough but its safe, Beach is walking distance on side walks and park. food is 1.1 miles away either way you go. plan to pay for parking every where you go outside the hotel. They will ask for $50 per night cc deposit if you check in with expedia, but thats just a hold, the charge never hits your cc. Pool area is always clean, can borrow chairs and umbrellas, awesome...

"We really enjoyed our stay at Uma! The staff were friendly and helpful, the location is excellent for South Beach, and the room was spacious and complete. We would stay there again. The only negative is that the hotel is actually two entirely separate buildings, so you will find yourself having to go out onto the (rather filthy) street in your bathing suit every time to go to the pool if you end up with a room in the other building. "The location of the hotel was excellent. An easy walk to the beach, and restaurants. The room was very clean. Unfortunately. the hotel needs some love and upgrading. The seams on the upholstery on the benches in the lobby were coming apart. We were in the second building, and the rooms were very spacious, but outdated. The carpet was coming up, the faucet on the kitchen sink was falling apart, the deadbolt did not work on the door. The bed and pillows were comfortable . "
