The pool area on the beach is beautiful and can only imagine how special the beach would be out of monsoon season. The dining options / quality of food need improvement . "The hotel is on a lovely, relatively quiet beach on the outskirts of the local town. A quick 5 mins walk or 2 mins in the hotel buggy. We had a sea view deluxe room which was great. Beautiful views, quiet, large, practical space and well serviced throughout the week. As mentioned by others the breakfast is excellent, especially loved the coffee which is freshly made on request. Not keen on the loud dance music played often over lunch or in the evening as takes away from the relaxing beach...

"All the staff were very helpful and friendly, peaceful by the beach and plenty of sun loungers available. Activities offered too, I did the yoga which was very enjoyable. Food was an interesting ensemble at the Christmas party but what I had was good. I was in one of the beach houses which had probably seen better days but still nice and clean, I'd definitely stay again. "

"This was my second stay at this property and it was another great one. The family rooms are spacious and have most things you need. We opted for the oil access in the Aqua wing and it was a great experience. Breakfast is amazing, wonderful food and choices galore. Loved the fish feeding experience daily for the kids We had lunch at the the Manta Ray and Coconut/Talat and it was lovely. Great portions. We also ate dinner at the Floating Market for a special fire show evening which was lovely ....

"We were extremely pleased with our stay at Ayara Villas! The room was super spacious for a family of four - huge king size bed, side bed (and a pull-out bed as well!) and we got a free baby crib to the room too. Small kitchen area in the room, good shower. Good black-out curtains. The staff were so nice and friendly, they placed our room near the fabulous children's play room - which was huge, lots of toys, climbing blocks, slide and chill-out sofas and hammocks for adults too :) Books for...
