The training (probably from an école hôtelière) of the staff was visible, although sometimes inflexible in a French way :-) (Speaking as a Frenchman...) and not attuned to a professional's schedule (but their market is not the corporate world). Although this was to be a once-only stay, I hope to have the opportunity to return."

"Not at all as expected from the description. We had a room which was tiny for a twin, no fridge, cooking, table or tea/coffee facilities. Bathroom was semi-decaying but more spacious. Carpets looked 20 or more years old. When we arrived we were given linen and towels to make our own beds (unserviced) during stay. This is not a hotel! Also asked to empty the room bin and take any rubbish at all up to end of road to bins. Upside was that we did use a very old tatty communal kitchen area in...
