This hotel is far from a 5 star experience! This is our 4th time to Costa Rica and from the moment I arrived into the property we were disappointed. You arrive and are forced to walk down a dirty red carpet while being shoved a martini glass full of water downed juice while all the staff claps at you while they take pictures. It felt cheesy and outdated and I could tell we were not liking it- But we decided to go with it, grab a drink in the lobby as we went to our room. You have to take run downed golf carts driven by staff to get around from the lobby, pool, restaurants. We arrived to our jr. Ocean front suite. The view was pretty but immediately over shadowed by the hot mess foam party at the main pool. Loud music, staff on microphones. I looked around the room and found smears on mirrors, coffe tables and a dirty band aid under one of the sinks. The bed pillows are supposed to be white- they were dingy. The online pic of the room did not look at all what we had. The bed had 0 decorative pillows. The tv is old and super pixilated. We had a horrible smell coming out of the drain in one of the bathroom sinks. I immediately went to the lobby and called Expedia- which did not help us at all. We talked to the manager who was rude and asked us what did we expect it’s a family all inclusive. I said I expected a Marriott 5 Star property that is clean and semi relaxing. I could go on and on but I’m running out of space to type the rest! Don’t go
