"This property has a certain charm, is very atmospheric with pretty gardens, but seems passed its prime. The room we were given smelled strongly of mold, the private pool was too gross to swim in, the small beach was not inviting and everything generally felt decrepit, dirty and in poor condition. After complaining and showing staff our issues with the room, we were eventually moved to another one which was much better. Our experience wasn't great but some may like it and staff was responsive....

"The property is secluded south of the main tourist area which has advantages and disadvantages. You are isolated with limited transportation and nothing in walking distance but the privacy and quiet is nice. We ate all meals at the hotel and thankfully the staff was great and the food was very good and inexpensive. The pool directly overlooks the beach which was small but nice. "

"In a quite location with its own beachfront but not golden sand , hotel needs some refurbishment and investment but we had a lovely stay room was cleaned each day , staff were lovely and friendly you can walk to Alona area In 25 mins or a quick tuc tuc ride , did some lovely diving from the dive shop on site , equipment was really good and the local reefs are stunning , if you want a nice quite spot to stay in then it was perfect "

"I liked the rustic aesthetics of the resort and that it is relatively close to Alona Beach and the airport. The ocean view rooms are very nice, you can walk straight onto the beach and into the water off the porch. As far as the negatives, not really a big deal, but the main pool is a bit small for the size of the resort. "The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive. Cannot state enough how fantastic the staff was. The property is showing its age a little bit, but it is still in good shape. The included breakfast buffet was fantastic. The dinner buffet which was extra was also great. The room I stayed in was also excellent. The pool was in great condition. Enjoyed spending time in the pool. Short walk to the beach and other establishments on the beach. "
