"Wensinghouse is conveniently located off a quiet alley steps away from the hustle and bustle of Jiufen Old Street. It is a little hard to find, so it's best to contact the owner before arriving. The property itself was well-managed by the owner - spick and span with a nice common dining area that you can use to enjoy delicious takeaway dinner (or supper) if the restaurants get too crowded. "It's a comfortable place to relax. Wi-Fi is a bit weak at the beginning, but the owner beefed it up to become very strong. Although a small table set up is not ideal to use, but it can be easily moved to wherever you want it to be. I became fully enjoyable staying there later on."

"Not great compared to the places in Beitou, but Jiaoxi has a lot less focus on the hot spring element. This hotel has a really nice size bath, but nothing particularly special about the facilities. The snacks and water availability are great. The breakfast is very good but standard. As long as you get a good price, I highly recommend this hotel."
