"The hotel was closed. We had not been told. There were mice running around the reception! We were moved hotel and where we went was lovely but the main reason we booked this hotel was for the swimming pool for our children and the hotel we moved to didn’t have one."

"The location of the hotel is excellent, a very nice and convenient area. The hotel staff were very friendly and service minded, the breakfast was very good and the room were clean and of decent size. I have stayed in many different hotels in London, but this was probably the best one. I am looking to my next stay at The Rembrandt."

"The room was extremely clean and the bathroom also. Comfortable bed, blackout curtains and good facilities. Comfortable reception area to wait for room/taxi etc. Staff were helpful and enough of them to be available when needed. A shout out to the lovely young lady in the Starbucks coffee bar - she went the extra mile with a lovely message or a smile written on each drink. A nice touch. "

"It was a great base for a couple of days in London for the theatre. Comfy beds, good pillows, nice shower and a good choice, hot and replenished often at breakfast. There was a bit of a queue to get in to breakfast in the morning but nothing too dramatic. The only thing I would say is we only got 3 towels in the room even though there were 4 of us which I thought was a bit odd, I’m sure it would not have been too much trouble if we requested another but we managed with 3 ok.. just maybe...

"The best part about this hotel is the location. Great spot for walking to either shops in SoHo or Mayfair. Hotel itself is nice. Tacky, but in an entertaining way. Room was comfortable, but was noisy. Could hear everything in the hall and through the walls. Bed was a-mazing (best part of the room), but the shower was a bit dirty. It smelled a little like ammonia and you could hear/feel the old water squishing under the shower flooring when you stepped in before you turned the water on. Also...
