"I had a short but lovely stay! The hotel comprises of several cottages with lots of history and charm so it makes for a memorable visit. The room I stayed in was no-frills and low-tech, with older appliances, but it had everything I needed. The location is great too, super close to Louis Armstrong Park and Congo Square, but quiet even though it’s just a short walk from Bourbon Street. The staff were also super friendly and accommodating. "

"It was a pleasure to stay at Melrose. We had late check in (12 am) and the security was very accommodating. Everyone at this property was so welcoming and offered to bring whatever we needed to our suite. Bonus: everything is within walking distance (10-15 min walk). Ubers and Lyfts are always nearby if you’re feeling lazy. I will certainly be back!"
