"Very nice place in a quiet scenic area. Facilities are great plus dining is very personable. Deducted a star due to a front desk member who was rude to me during check in(plus couldn’t locate our reservation the supervisor stepped in and took care of us). Also,our door lock needed repair (the maintenance guy there was top notch and saved the day by fixing our door). Aside from our check in woes this is a very nice place to stay and will probably stay here again."

Reasonable hotel

"The room i was in was reasonably nice. Dated decor, but clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful, however hardly spoke any English, so it was tricky getting checked in and out. Breakfast was poor. The sausages and eggs were cold (I did get a bit of an upset stomach on my third day, however not sure if this was because of the breakfast or something else I ate outside the hotel) and the bread was hard. The first couple of nights were quiet, however the third night there were people in the two adjacent rooms and you could hear everything they did. Not much to do in Bad Königshofen. I was there for work, but had a wander round town in my spare time. I think id done everything there is to do/see in about 2 hours). Poor public transport link to BK as well. "

Very Pleasant Stay

"Nice hotel, looks new and updated compared to other hotels in Germany. Very friendly staff! Great drinks at the bar and good breakfast. My only complaint would be the small bathroom/shower but thats par for the course in Germany. Will definitely stay here again next year! "

"The service was amazing and the food was delicious. Everyone from the owners who made you feel like family to all the servers were excellent. The owners spoke English. Although Steffi did not speak a lot of English she tried and always had a smile and was delightful. The tub was an unexpected surprise but a very good surprise. There was also a shower. I highly recommend this gasthof and if we come back we will definitely stay here again."

"If you come on a Wednesday, be careful: the hotel and restaurant are closed and the number on the notice at the door doesn’t work. I was on a cycling tour and had already called the number on the confirmation (which does work) to say I would be arriving at 8.30. Ringing back on arrival I got step by step instructions how to get in and find the room, all in my school German. The restaurant was in the evening shut so no food. I didn’t meet anyone there other than the girl at breakfast. It is a nice guest house in a beautiful situation but at €60 for no service is not good value for money."
