"This is easy the best property on the Island. The service here was very friendly and client focused. There were maybe one or two bad apples at the resort with bad attitude but we just learned to avoid them. One thing that could be better is an update to the menu. The food is good, but it could be GREAT with just a little bit more creativity and attention to detail. I highly recommend staying here while traveling in Moorea! "

"Simply a terrific boutique hotel. Fantastic location on the edge of the water. Easy access to snorkeling, kayaking, etc. Wonderful rooms and common areas. Designed by the courteous and helpful owner… Who is a fantastic artist and interior designer. Terrific mix of simplicity, utility, and sophistication. We will be back!"

"I was a last minute check-in, which was a little problematic, as they had sorry of closed for the evening. I was told that this is their not busy season, but I would still expect an establishment such as that to be open past six. Minor issue with the windows, where I had to close them from outside to avoid mosquitoes. Staff is very friendly and helpful and the property is absolutely gorgeous. If not for those inconveniences I mentioned, I would have given them 5 stars across the board. "

"When we located the property, it was a wonderful guest house. Note that guest houses have shared bathrooms and this one does not state that it has air conditioning. The proprietor was excellent and we loved being able to walk to the beach to snorkel!"

"This placr was great!! Super private, quiet and fun! The property is very well maintained and cleaned. Amazing private beach to enjoy and see the sunset. I huge plus to have available kayaks to go see the dolphins in the early morning. I highly recommend! The host Katy is extremely nice and sweet and made our visit very special. She has great recommendations if you need suggestions for any activity you want to do. "

"Where do I begin do review this stay? In so many ways it was a stay of a lifetime. Mark’s Place is beautiful. Each bungalow is unique in design and amenities. Our bungalow had lots of windows and large glass patio door which led to a large deck with outside furniture. Our bungalow did not have toilet or shower contained within, but we did have private facilities directly across from our unit. "This is a smal, intimate , boutique hotel. Rooms are smashed but we had a bungalow facing the beach. Gorgeous! Other bungalows face the garden and actually are much cheaper but just as nice. Guests have access to a huge, well furnished living space and patio with a view of the beach. You can also use a state of art kitcnen. "

"There is a steep hill up to the property and once your @ the parking spot, you must hike a bit more to get to the rental. Nice pool, very clean property! Owners reprimanded teenagers for playing ball in the pool, so I would have to assume that this property prefers adults over kids. Entrance to property is not well marked (but neither is any other property on Moorea!). "

"What a great find! Beachfront property with a excellent view (although the beach was somewhat rocky)! "Poe" (property mgr) was a kind soul and was always there if we needed anything. King bed downstairs and singles in the upstairs loft. This property doesn't have A/C, so it does get somewhat warm during the day, but the Pacific breeze cools the space at night. Good value for the money!"

On the beach, white sand, beach towels, snorkeling

"We had a lagoon view bungalow. Extremely well situated, close to the beach. The compound gives the feel of a peaceful village with bungalows scattered on the lawn. We cannot review the restaurant, because there were many other dining opportunities in the vicinity that we tried out."
