“The only complaint I had with Bahia Principe Luxury is the room. The walls/door did not block any sound at all. We heard people walking, talking, yelling, etc all night long. Then in the morning we would hear the staff talking to each other across the hall. It sounded like they were pretty much inside our room. That, plus the constant loud music/entertainment at the pool was ultra annoying. We requested to move rooms, which we were granted. But unfortunately, the doors/walls were still paper...

“Our stay was nice. Our rooms were upgraded however, the beds were really firm and I mean really hard. We did not get good sleep. Another major problem is the jerk hut. That jerk chicken was more like baked chicken with no spice! They said they had to make it differently for everyone to eat it but why not make two options! One spicy and the other not! Really disappointed to come to Jamaica and eat horrible baked chicken and not authentic jerk.”

“For the price, Hibiscus Lodge was as expected. The front desk staff could have had better customer service. Anytime I called to complain about not having hot water, their response “no one else has complained about this, but we’ll send someone.” Umm.. I don’t care what anyone else has complained about, I’m complaining now. Other than the water issue and outdated rooms, it wasn’t a terrible stay.
