We reviewed many hotels in the area and were thrilled to find a nice price for a Trademark Wyndham property. That is where the only positive part is located- the name.
Before arriving to the property we received texts about the shuttle and where to wait at the airport. Despite this and very unfortunately, the airport shuttle took an hour and a half of waiting outside and then the driver was bossy and unkind.
We arrived and English-speakers beware- not the best spot for you to book. Lobby floor/rug/furniture are gross! We were given our room which was ‘renovated’ but obviously on a dime as many wires, bathroom, floor, etc were uneven and stained! The room was very dirty- hairs, floor, shower!
The room had a television, desk, fridge, & chair. At night, outdoors behind the property (where our small window faced )was loud and we ended up leaving the bathroom light on to use the broken ventilation fan to drown out!
The breakfast was carbohydrate heaven. Waffles, heavy syrup, microwave disc-shaped ‘egg patties’, coffee, cereal, bread, bagels, and bananas. The staff didn’t speak English so we needed a phone translator. There are also only around 14 seats to accommodate all guests which left a huge amount of bodies with nowhere to sit or make food. Water isn’t potable and you are given two small bottles for the night. We ended up buying $8 more in water.
Staff doesn’t wear uniforms at the front desk and aren’t particularly focused on the guests.
A painful lesson for the budget.
