This place is extremely outdated, the cleanliness is not great, there was black hair in the shower and I don’t have black hair, the floor were also extremely dirty that my feet were black after my shower. The sink was leaking and was loose from the wall, the towels were outdated and had holes in them, there’s no AC, so you need to request a fan. The fan the first brought us was broken, their phone to call the desk was not working so I had to keep going back down to the lobby for requests. I would not recommend, however you are on a budget than this is still a great place, very spacious and charming hotel. Definitely would not give it more than 3 stars.

For a two night stay - worth the price
Pros : breakfast in the morning was included, tea, small bit of fruit and one omelet with a price of bread down stairs in the dinning room/ lobby -big bathroom, good shower pressure and amount of hot water ( we didn’t run out) They provided two bottles of water at veg in and also had a water machine downstairs -really nice staff -small balcony -massssive king sized bed -cozy lint to wait in for check in -small gym room with a tredmil and bike ~Elevator Cons: - not much natural sunlight throughout the day - early check in wasn’t available but they let us store our things and come back Bed was a little hard but I slept great

It was noisy, all the room furniture was old and smelled like an old house, and it was very humid. The service was OK, and the people were nice. At 7:00 A.m., you could easily hear the other properties' activities as if you were there, they don't provide a basis one, toiler paper..

The hotel is nice but bathrooms and beds are very outdated. We complained our bed was too hard and we were told there is nothing they could do. Breakfast was okay, but they need to add more options for people with special dietary needs.

Clean, comfortable but no air conditioning
This is a nice hotel in a nice part of CDMX. But it is an older property with no air-conditioning. I was there on a hot day and it was mildly uncomfortable the first night but fine the next two. It is exceptionally clean and the rooms are quite large. I would probably stay here again. The wifi was super fast and the personnel were all lovely. There is stain glass all over the place and it adds a magical quality to this location. It's an interesting hotel.

Excellent location, but old fashioned
The location in Polanco cannot be beat. It is obvious that this is a very old and quite traditional hotel from Mexico City. Although things seem to have been updated in the late '80s or '90s, everything sort of looks and feels tired. The lack of hot water on any day in the shower is an issue that they really should address. Even though the temperatures while we were there were in the high 80s and 90s, a freezing cold shower first thing in the morning is not desirable. Also, the lack of any ventilation in my room. Windows only opened to the inner enclosed courtyard. No ceiling fan or floor fan. They provide breakfast which has quite a variety of items, and a really good coffee maker! This was appreciated. Although, as a casual Traveler who does not speak Spanish, the communication was very difficult.

Great place to stay
My girlfriend and I stayed for 3 nights, and we loved it. Location was great for our needs, the hotel is very clean, bed very comfortable, the breakfast is excellent, and there is a coffee machine in the lobby that is available 24 hours (hot water for teas as well). The concierge gave us a fantastic recommendation to get local tacos nearby our first night (El Rey del Suadero) and we enjoyed the food so much. Would definitely stay here again next time in CDMX!

Super nice staff. Clean except for lack of rug vacuuming. Amazing neighborhood/location. Our suite had a small kitchen but no pots pans or utensils.
