This is the perfect resort if you need quiet, to unwind, detox and relax. It's in rural Maskall Village and an hour away from the airport, set in the jungle. Aside from a couple of restaurants that looked like houses in the neighborhood, there were no surrounding businesses. The staff was super efficient and knew where we were at all times. Melanie is an awesome property manager and was on top of everything the whole time. She arranged our airport transfers and we were able to communicate for everything we needed via Whatsapp. Gloria and Sandy were everything when it was time to eat! 😋 The food there was prepared from the freshest ingredients and was super delicious. Amilcar took us on a medicinal hike, and was very knowledgeable about the surrounding vegetation and their healing properties. Marcella and Marleni at the spa gave us the best body scrub, body wrap, and massage services! Took all the toxins and put me right to sleep each time! 💤 😴 💆‍♀️ This is the perfect, out of the way, off the beaten path resort to relax and rejuvenate, with an emphasis on detoxing and holisticness. I definitely recommend.

Perfect weekend getaway with spouse. The staff doubles as tour guides for local activities on the mainland. Just one activity is enough for half the day and then use of the hotel amenities in the evening if perfect for relaxing.

I like that everything was laid back. We had our privacy. Massages were amazing. The food was good. Tours were offered by the resort, which was convenient! Transportation vehicles were Teslas and everyone had great attitudes and were super friendly. The resort itself was an hour away from the main city, but I didn't mind. The resort folks took care of us. It was a true vacation. Overall very excellent. 👏

The property owners are so welcoming and truly make you feel at home and provide an unforgettable experience. Belize Boutique Resort & Spa is great for the solo traveler, for couples, and even for groups. There is fine dining on the property that can cook to any diet, spa services, yoga studio, chapel, jungle in backyard, and endless activities for you to do. This resort offered a unique experience sort of "off the beaten path." We only had a quick 2 days there but Melanie our hostess made sure we were able to squeeze in all of the activities we wished to do. They booked all excursions and provided transportation. There are no words for this place. The food was amazing and the resort is beautiful. Everyone made the trip unforgettable. Melanie was so incredible even before i arrived. The mood mud massage was the most unique spa treatment ever. Do not pass that up. Every detail was perfect. We literally never wanted to leave.. they dont treat you like a guest. From the moment you arrive you feel amazing. I cannot say thank you enough!

Property itself was beautiful. On the first day issues with the wifi for the whole day. On the last night after getting a massage again wifi down with no notice from staff, when my friend asked about it she got told 3 different answers all from different members of staff. The food was okay the best was the ceviche, menu could be more flavorful, seemed repetitive and not authentic to Belize culture. Unless you have your own car and cell service you’re pretty much stuck on the property which was definitely a learning experience. They do offer transportation and some excursions. I chose to leave the resort for two days to enjoy more of what Belize had to offer. Although a beautiful property I would not return or recommend unless you plan on saying there the whole time and not a foodie.

If you want an experience somewhat out of the ordinary that is different and unique, away from your electronic devices, this is the place in the jungle near Mascall Village. Stayed at Abezza Resort for 3 nights during our trip to Belize, and Melanie took fantastic care of us while there. She arranged for all of our travel from the airport to the water taxi, all of our private custom tours each day (straight from our hut room), and offers fantastic service from the friendly, personable, and knowledgable local drivers to the tour guides and staff employees. Visited 3 Maya sites while there, Lamanai, Xunantunich, and Altun Ha. All were terrific. Food and food service is excellent there. Had a great time. If you want the all in one experience from morning to evening, Abeeza Resort was the place for us.

It was nothing of what we imagined but everything we didn't know we needed. There's an abundance of peace, nature and tranquility. If we mentioned a day at the beach, it was possible within 24 hours, no tour was unattainable. The chef specials at dinner were cooked to perfection and the Mud massage and bath were exceptional. This was definitely an extraordinary, off the grid experience. We look forward to our next visit.

A very quirky property with many cute and thoughtful places to hang out. The welcome by Mel was super friendly and informative. The rooms are getting tired and are in need of renovations. Our room had quite a lack of daylight. The quality of towels was poor and we really missed hot water in the room. Food was good and freshly prepared. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

The room, amenities and staff are all 5 star. The food we had was cooked to order using the freshest ingredients. Would recommend the Indian wrap. The room was fantastic and the whole vibe of the place was welcoming g and relaxing - so peaceful and lots to see and enjoy. We only stayed for 1 night but would stay longer if we visit again! Will recommend this place to any family/friends traveling through Belize.
