Whilst the Car parking was great & clean rooms, some staff were friendly, some were plain abrupt.
Attention to detail that would demonstrate the quality they claim to offer is poor. Things like pillows smelling sour like stale sweat, curtain didnt meet the wall so a gap of light shone through, shower gel pump dispenser broken, breakfast was just ok, tepid, half the things normally offered at a buffet breakfast werent there. If you like a continenetal breakfast it was poor. Staff said croissants were being refilled in 1 minute as someone had gone to fetch them. After asking twice more and waiting 20 minutes we didn't bother waiting any longer. Our room was a twin. Didn't specifiy the view on booking, on check in i asked what was the best view available for the price (as the hotel was not busy) i was told if i wanted a view of the ground it was £40 extra. We declined but what we werent told was our view was of a building site. Overall i expected better, and have had better, for over £100 in mid January. Hilton can be so hit and miss... or as my mother would say... all hat no knickers! This one defintely missed the mark for us sadly.
