"We were staying there due to a smow storm so we we just happy to not be driving. Everything about the place was very basic and adequate. The room had been updated nicely. The scent of the deodorizer was sickeningly strong, especially in the hallways. We could not have handled that and the deodorizer in the room for any longer. We were happy to be able to leave the hotel. "

Being January, everything in Castine was closed - no hotels, nothing. this was the next closest place. I was very pleased. THe room was pristine. Looks like brand new carpet and flooring. The room and bathroom were immaculate. THe beds were very comfortable and the towels were of high quality. "
