It was perfect for my need at the time to stop and rest! The motorways are not too close but… The tidal bore was disappointing and not worth watching! That was one of the reasons for being here!

With this property, you cannot judge a book by its cover. When we arrived at the property I was a bit concerned because there were waist high weeds and dead plants everywhere, making the property look tired and neglected. However, we decided to check in anyway and see what the room was like and go from there. First, the gentleman who checked us in was very friendly and nice. Then when we opened the door to our room, we were pleasantly surprised. The room, including the bathroom, was very clean, there were plenty of towels, it had a fridge and microwave, and the beds were comfy, so of course we decided to stay. You can sit on the provided chairs on the lawn and watch the tide from the Bay of Fundy come in, which is the main reason we made reservations there. It was also very quiet and close to restaurants and shops. There’s a building on the property that used to be a restaurant but I think it’s permanently closed. It also has weeds growing everywhere around it. If the owners would put a little more effort into cleaning up around the buildings and the landscape, this hotel would truly be a gem.

The property is up on a hill and has chairs and picnic tables beautiful sunset. We had a deer come across. The rooms are clean and set up very nice. The host are friendly and will try to help with whatever you need. 100 percent would stay here again

Although an older establishment, our room was spotless and obviously has been renovated recently. The room size was good. We appreciated the table and chairs by the window overlooking the Salmon River at the bottom of the hill. Bill, the manager, was friendly and helpful, and we really appreciated the fact that the efficient and thorough housekeeping staff-person found a charger that we left behind and kept it for us! Price and location were major factors in staying there, too. Happy with our choice.

Room was clean and spacious. Overooked where you can watch the tide come and go. Staff was friendly. The only thing we didnt like about it was the door lock. You locked it from the inside by pushing in and turn the knob. Also was tricky to unlock with the key.

Upon check-in i was greeted with a smile by the gentleman behind the counter, and was a very positive interaction. Very welcoming and transparent. The room was extremely clean, as my fiancée and i are what some people may call germaphobe lol so 5 stars there without a doubt. And the property was in a good location to the Tim Snortons and WackDonald’s. even had a nice view of the salmon river on the hillside. They do not allow smoking near the rooms as the air conditioner or open windows and doors wont expel nasty smoke smells into your room, instead they have a nice section for smokers just away from the rooms with a nice seating arrangement with a great sunset view. So they accommodate very well. I would stay again if i am ever in the area. Thanks for taking pride in your establishment and maintaining such a high standard in cleanliness. Very rare today.
