"The location is great, and the property is beautiful. It has great amenities - many pools, planned activities and a nice fitness center. The breakfast that is included with the stay is outstanding. A great selection of food, and in a beautiful location on the water. The renovated Avalon is very nice and comfortable. The only negative is that the water pressure, particularly in the shower, was poor. "

"The location of the property is absolutely excellent, within walking distances to most of the popular places. We were very lucky for finding a free parking spot just cross the street. The breakfast was decent and the staff services were excellent. The air conditioner was pretty loud though."

"This is a gorgeously maintained and updated property built in 1891. Perfect location less than a block from historic Duvall street, but quiet inside. Staff is super friendly and focused on what it takes to make the stay fun! Highly recommend!"

"Check in was a mess but other than that, it was a nice stay. There was a mango tree that kept dropping mangoes. We were allowed to eat all we wanted. That was an especially nice perk of staying there."
