The hotel is bigger than I expected, in a good way, and very busy. It is very close to Finsbury Park tube which is very handy.
The Deluxe double room is small with a standard double bed; the pillows are uncomfortable, The air con in our room did not function very well and the first night there we froze despite altering the thermostat to high. Second night was the opposite! Obviously during the day the high temperature kicked in so when we returned to the room in the evening it was like a sauna. we changed the thermostat to low but to no avail.
We got back to the hotel at around 23:30 and the bar area was quite full with people waiting for a drink but noone was serving. I spoke with a chap setting the tables in the dining room and asked if he could serve and he said the man at reception was also the barman. I spoke with him and he came round and started serving someone else which lead to further outcry as other people had been there longer! It was chaos all due to no one being behind the bar (for some time). To make matters worse he was rude to the customers. Just ridiculous costing the hotel money by not selling / serving drinks and his poor customer service. I'd like to say I would stay there again but its all left a sour taste in my mouth. Poor show.
