You could not ask for a better location for your stay to ski and explore the 3 Vallees. Although the reception is not open all day, the hours are not really inconvenient, they are open in the morning and in the afternoon, best of all if you are arriving when the reception is...

"Overall very good. Father & son ski holiday. Pros Ski in and out excellent facility with excellent storage for ski gear - once you work out where to enter off the slope. Simple clean spacious if not dated decor. The flat has a nice layout and you can spend a week here comfortably & contrary to other reviews reception is very helpful (esp Anna) when its open. Cons Constant cigarette smoke come through the kitchen and bathroom vents. I had a blocked nose throughout, really unhappy that my 11 yrs...

"A clean building with friendly and close to town...shops beneath and everything you would need in close proximity. Only negative was that you could hear everything that was going on outside and people in the flats next to you, above you and beneath you but utterly was relatively quiet and not really a trouble."

"We booked the room with the expectation to find a 4 stars hotel, both families came with our kids and it was supposed to be our winter holiday, but unfortunately it become a nightmare. Rooms were dirty, walls were damaged, juicy or vomit on the floor, the sofa was badly stained and super dirty, toilet was licking and made a bad noise all night, sheets were dirty, no hair drier, no basic hygiene objects, with stinky hair and with a lot of small hauls, the shower didn' t work because the hot water...

"I was really pleased with our choice of Le Chamois D’Or. It is ideally located near the bottom of the magic carpet and Pioneers chair lift and really is ski in/out. The room was spacious and extremely well equipped with everything you would need in the kitchen. We even had a balcony overlooking the piste. "It was not clear on booking that the hotel was spread over several different chalet buildings within the village and so if you were not in the main building you basically didn’t have practical access to any of the amenities like the spa and swimming pool. Furthermore the ratio of amenities to guests is totally overloaded and so the spa was always very congested without proper changing facilities. Like most Pierre residence properties, very misleading once again."

"It was ok but expensive for what we got.We were told they were no towels as the hotel was full! There’s no room cleaning. Make your beds on arrive. Strip them and fully clean the room when you leave. And the lady in rebel ski hire was vile we had 2 children first pair of boots were to small she wasn’t happy about changing them probably the wrong time of the month not the experience would expect in a hire shop. Nice little supermarket on site and friendly lady."

"Terrible. Would not stay here again. Power continuously went out. Extremely loud, could not sleep. Walls are so thin you can hear people outside and in every room. Floors were so dirty. Beds uncomfortable. Front desk does not help at all with any requests. Spend your money somewhere else. "

"Really nice place. Clean and modern and very easy ski-in/ski-out. Elevators are an issue at times, but that is my only co plaint. Otherwise a great hotel. And the elevator is a nuisance, not a serious problem."

"The hotel is nice, really good breakfast! Location is perfect! We had a room for 2 ppl which was nice but rooms a very tight. Pool has nice warm water, sauna and steam room are great! Too bad it’s only open till 8 pm. "

"Property is very clean and modern, room is decent size. I was worried I’ll hear the lobby party in my room - not even a bit! Plus party ends at reasonable hour, very thoughtful of guests who are tired after skiing. Ski in and out is great, just make sure not to be like me and miss the last ski lift 😄 then it becomes an uphill walk to get to the hotel. The best part of this property - staff. Everyone is smiling, welcoming, willing to help, even if they are overwhelmed by many requests from different guests at the same time. I’d want to come back and stay there again. "
