What a find! A little off our route, and well worth it. Of the five hotels we booked in to on our travels, the Stork was head and shoulders above the others. Could find no fault with staff or facilities. And very dog friendly too!

Had a lovely 2 day break here just after Christmas with 2 kids and a dog. The pub is as dog friendly as it says in the other reviews and we received a dog Xmas dinner and toy in our room. Food was good, bar staff were friendly. I dont usually have breakfast but i really looked forward to it here as it was great quality and included in our stay. The only small issue was the noise from the bar on the first night but that's only because our room was directly over the main bar, it wasn't anything over the top but the kids struggled to sleep until the guests left at 11.30pm.

Lovely property in very nice location. Tons of hot water for showers. We were disappointed that our dinner reservation went missing (we had emailed in advance and confirmed during check-in) and although we were able to eat in the bar area at a later time felt that a complimentary coffee would have been appreciated.

Lovely family stay
We had a lovely stay here with our family and dog. It was a halfway stop to Scotland, perfectly located close to the motorway. The staff were all very friendly. The dog was very happy with her little welcome pack with treats and a ball! Breakfast was ok. The bathroom was lovely, all very modern and clean.
