We had a great stay! The hotel was in a convenient spot. There was construction going on which didn’t bother us at all. The pool and hottub were not working just fyi. It was annoying to have to use the main entrance (all other doors were out of order) because you have to park in the parking ramp but other than that it served its purpose! The staff were very accommodating as well.

Room smelled horrible, like an ashtray. Their solution was spraying air freshener. Bar closed, no license. Pool area, lobby restroom, ice machine all out of order. No breakfast at all. Bed was comfortable. Good location.

This hotel is going through a transformation due to new ownership, who are saying they will update and improve the condition of the hotel, which has an excellent location. When the hotel has been brought up to higher standards, it will be an excellent choice. In the meantime, the pool, the ice machine, etc. all have signs saying "Out of Order," and (if our room is any indication) the physical condition of the hotel is in obvious need of improvement. On a positive note, the desk staff was helpful and friendly and our room was clean.

I believe it was in transition but nothing worked. Pool, walk way from parking garage, bathroom in lobby all out of order. Restaurant closed, bags of trash in the hall way. Im sure it will be a great hotel but the transition was a something to be desired.

Prior to booking the hotel room I was not informed that all amenities were not available. Hotel website needs to be updated due to that situation. I brought my son with me figuring he could swim and use the arcade area. When showing up I asked the front desk clerk after checking in if I needed a permit for my car so we didn't get towed and get kept just saying he didn't think they were enforcing that even though there was permits in every other car window in the parking lot. We didn't end up getting towed but the front desk clerk was not helpful in assuring we didn't need a permit and we wouldn't be towed just kept saying he didn't know anything about it. Also when we got to the hotel room there was no refrigerator. I was not informed about this otherwise I would have requested a different room. I am a pumping/breast feeding mom and had no where to store my milk other than my little cooler I had. Which is what I had to do, so I figured I could just add ice frequently, all ice machines were out of order except the one on the 5th floor.. I was on the 1st floor. The door had to be pulled shut and locked otherwise it would not shut tight and you could just push it open. Lastly, when checking out I was informed I had to pay $250 even though I paid in advanced through expedia. Normally I do not complain and know things happen. If I was informed about all this beforehand I may have been a little more lenient on my review. I don't think I will be booking at Taron B Hotel again/

Advertisment of this property was very misleading. The pool, vending and ice, and restaurant are all shut down. While property said they were newly taking over, we had booked several months ago. Staff had a very hard time running the software, and chick on amd out were not smooth. We shall see if i get my money back that they quadruple over charged at checking by mistake as they couldnt run the software, I feel like this too will be a nightmare. The only thing that mad this property "ok" was location, but its not like a person could just go book another hotel the day of checkin, but i would've booked elsewhere if i had any idea of the above problems with the property prior.
