"The staff was super friendly, and I love that they're trying to renovate and restore this beautiful old home. My room was huge, and they had good wifi with TV access to all streaming services. However, it seemed like the room and bathroom hadn't been cleaned, and I didn't have control over the air conditioning in my room. Otherwise, beautiful spot, and I suspect will only get better!"

"We loved the location of this hotel (not smack in the middle of Waikiki, but close to everything we needed), but because the windows were not double-paned, we heard a LOT of street noise (earplugs were provided). The room was definitely dated, but very clean, and the staff were super-friendly."

"Our stay at Aston Waikīkī Sunset exceeded our expectations. It’s not a luxury 5 star hotel but we needed accommodations for 6 within a month. We booked a 2 bedroom suite with a queen bed in one room, 2 twin beds in the other bedroom and a queen sofa sleeper in the living area. It was perfect for us and was walking distance to the beach, dining and shopping. We would definitely stay here again! Mahalo!"
