"Nice hotel in a great location near Gion. Lots of food options nearby. Very walkable and near subway. Check in and check out were no-contact and easy. You cannot transport luggage to this hotel because they do not always have staff manning the front desk. You can transport luggage to Yamato Transport which is about a 15 min walk from the hotel. Room is good size and clean. Beds were comfortable. "

"Safe, clean, and quiet are what I care most. This place is very clean. Security is good. And feel safe around this area. Our room faces a busy road, noisy at night, I wear earplugs for sleep. 3 out of 6 rooms at each floor faces this street. For people who are sensitive to noise, better mentioning your specific request. Will be happy to try those three quiet rooms next time."

"Poor customer service upon check in. We were 20 minutes early for a 3pm check in time and were not permitted in. Crazy when previous hotel allowed check in three hours earlier. Our son hurt his knee and the hotel staff went out of the way to look for a clinic for us, book a taxi to the clinic, and did follow ups after that, even leaving a note when they didn’t see us that evening. "The Blossom at Kyoto is a gem of a place to stay within walking distance of the Gojo subway station. The hotel is very elegantly styled, offers incredible service and has an amazing onsite restaurant (Kyoto Gojo Ono) which serves steaks which will melt in your mouth. We stayed in a triple room with 3 beds and it was surprisingly spacious for a Kyoto hotel. The furnishings were very moderns with a tatami mat space and elegant Japanese minimalist style. There were several restaurants within walking distance of the hotel including quick fast food options. It was an excellent experience for all of us and my teen daughter loved the place."

"We chose this hotel mainly for the spa and proximity to mount Fuji but I did not expect the views we received in the morning. We were blessed with clear skies and saw Mount Fuji in all of its glory. The room(s) were spacious and the bath tub was nice and comfortable. The property is a tad dated though in the sense that each room is operated with a key and not a keycard "

"This was the first time for us to stay at Centara, but will not be the last. Our family of four chose a family room and it was perfect with the bunkbeds and the king size bed, and the complete design of the room so thoughtful. The staff and the breakfast buffet were very memorable. Thank you for celebrating our 25th anniversary with us as well!"
