"Was a bit confusing getting to the location at first but we found our way. The size was perfect for our stay. Didn’t need anything big. The floor boards between the rooms was noisy so it was hard getting to the restroom quietly and not waking anyone. It was quiet, except when students came but that was when we were about to leave for the day. Shower was spacious and clean and hot. We really appreciated the tea and breakfast option. "

"Excellent pace to stay, close to the train station, pubs and bars , room looks modern, clean and fresh, although over the road from a busy bar we slept really well as the new windows blocked out any noise , we did have and issue with room keys on arrival but we sorted it with the help of another guest , we’d definitely stay again ."

"Sfeervol en heel netjes. Gastvrouw is heel vriendelijk en gastvrij. Super leuk om bij een echt iers landhuis te verblijven met alle hedendaagse gemakken. Maynooth is leuke plaats, universiteitsgebouw heel mooi, veel winkels en mogelijk om met trein naar Dublin te gaan. "

"Cute and unique stay in some cottages on this lovely golf course. The cottages were lovely and roomy and very nice. Everything was super clean, the bathroom was huge and had a nice shower and a separate large tub. The dinning options were nice as well and the complimentary breakfast was delicious. This is on a golf course but there is an old castle and also an old church on the grounds which was awesome to explore and take pictures of. Very quiet and romantic place and if you are a golfer it’s a plus but not necessary. Not to far from the Dublin area. "

"This property is magical! From the moment we drove up, we were in awe! We love the property’s Hailey and everything it has to offer. My husband and I had dinner at Preston’s and WOOOOOW!!!!! The steak was by far the best I’ve ever had, and I am a foodie! Everything was cooked to perfection! We also went to the spa, and it was the best and much needed r&r my husband and I could ask for! I can’t wait for us to return."

"Great hotel, lovely environment. Location good for local restaurants etc. My only complaint is that the room was very warm even though the temp outside wasn’t particularly high and we had 2 fans in the room. I’d be nervous to stay there in the summer!! "

"The location is marvellous. A local walk was identified, this passed local landmarks and was its own reward after a long drive. The rooms are great, however dining is limited and carries pricing fitting the calibre of resort. The staff are friendly, the surrounding a real treat."

Food really bad

"The hotel was very warm throughout it was hard to sleep. The bed was done and the mattress leaned to one side. The food was really bad, we had to send it back. Ordered veg curry and they brought chicken, they changed it and all I got was a watery curry sauce full of onions and the rice was clumped together. The restaurant manager Shona was very attentive though I have to say. The pool and gym were nice and the cocktail bar was very good and the two Greek bar staff were super. The bar was quite dirty and dusty everywhere. "
