"First thing first... This is a HOMESTAY! Meaning you will be staying in their house. If that is what you want then you will be happy. The guy that runs the place is very nice. He does however want to be around you all the time. As for the rooms, you get what you pay for works here, they are very basic. 2 plug ins, 1 worked, 1 shocked me. Went to make tea, opened the sugar jar up and noticed it was actually an ant colony living in the sugar. Breakfast was delicious, home made rotti and eggs...

"Nice hotel with bar facing the pool. Very large room at the far end of the hotel with River view. Bar service was slow and had to go to bar to order drink. Bar was understaffed. Restaurant was badly laid out. Beef on buffet was tough. Large queues at entrance to buffet area. Squashed bug on top of toilet cistern. Overall hotel does not compare favourably with Habanara Cinnamon Lodge and Yala Cinnamon Wild. Staff were polite and friendly"
