"Our room was clean, our bed was comfortable but we were on the ground floor and it was very noisy as it’s the way in and out of the hotel. It is in a great position for walking around the old town. Vegetarian food served at restaurant is freshly prepared and of superb quality. Every staff I came across was polite and helpful . Little increase in the water pressure in the bathroom is desired, but not essential.Only one shortcoming I could find after deep inspection is missing by of peep holes on room doors. 😊"

"This is a characterful place to stay rather than an anonymous chain hotel. We stayed in a luxury room which was large and quiet. We ate there every night as the food was good and the view amazing. There were other restaurants within a short walk but it was nice not to have to walk out again after our busy days. Things to note Doors were low to rooms and en suites, my husband kept banging his head! There are also steep stairs and no lift so if you aren’t good on your feet it could be an issue....
