"Good service at check in and throughout Breakfast not hot"

"The hotel is situated in a quiet location and hosted within a Large Manor House on very well kept grounds. The price of the room was not much more thank a premier inn which is why I booked the venue. The only reason I have not provided a top score is that the pillows on the bed were uncomfortable and the walls are thin. I could hear my neighbours tv and speaking until 12 midnight which wasn’t great. Also the bar was quite a distance from the main hotel and based in a newer section right at the...

"Nice hotel have stayed before but in the main building. The room we stayed in is overdue for a re vamp as the wallpaper was peeling off and badly marked and the bath panel needed replacing both of which I advised to reception."

"This was our second stay at the King Charles and again it exceeded expectations, from the comfortable room to the excellent breakfast, friendly staff and ambience. The bar food was particularly tasty and reasonably priced, so we are looking forward to visiting again very soon!"

"Loved this hotel, however cleanliness in the bathroom was a little bit of an issue. Found a lot of hair on walls floors and sink on arrival. Apart from that, location good, room service great, comfortable bed. Will stay again but will check cleanliness and report back next time if needed. "

"This is an exceptionally good hotel, all the usual facilties, good free wifi, comfortable bed, good shower, excellent dining room and breakfasts with good choice of breakfast. Good restaurant within the hotel with reasonably priced meals. Staff very helpfull. The only downside was no mirror in the bathroom so had to use own small mirror to shave by."
