"The place wasn't difficult to find, I was a bit worried when I was booking. The location is great, it is close to a lot of tourist attractions. Our room had a wonderful view of the falls. The wind and rain were strong when we stayed, but there wasn't any issue. The room design was chic and posh. The kitchen was fully equipped. I wish they will have flexible/refundable booking option. It was also a bit pricey. I will recommend for longer stays. "

"The Hekla Cabins are three, wonderful little cabins just off one of the main roads through the area. The cabin comfortably fit two, but there's a pullout couch (at least in Cabin One) for an additional sleeper. The kitchen has a small fridge and a stovetop, and the bathroom has a shower with plenty of hot water (WiFi was also available). "We loved staying here. More spacious than most properties for 2. Very warm and even has an area where we could get our clothes dry from the trip to Forest Lagoon, which is super close by the way. It had all we needed, except for a microwave oven, which I believe is a must. But we managed. Space may be a bit reduced, but that is expected in an accommodation for 2. We loved having a living area as well. Close enough to Akureyri and great spot for a stop before continuing on ring road. "

"This is a very quiet property, and each "little house" is set so that you have privacy. The interior is very small - perfect for a couple or a couple with a small child - but we did end up putting our suitcases back in the car so we'd have a little more floor space. It gets hot in the summer and if there is no wind I would be a bit worried about the bugs, but because it was windy they left us alone with the windows open.
