"The place wasn't difficult to find, I was a bit worried when I was booking. The location is great, it is close to a lot of tourist attractions. Our room had a wonderful view of the falls. The wind and rain were strong when we stayed, but there wasn't any issue. The room design was chic and posh. The kitchen was fully equipped. I wish they will have flexible/refundable booking option. It was also a bit pricey. I will recommend for longer stays. "

"The Hekla Cabins are three, wonderful little cabins just off one of the main roads through the area. The cabin comfortably fit two, but there's a pullout couch (at least in Cabin One) for an additional sleeper. "Lovely location. Wonderful main area and kitchen. Food was great! Hotel rooms (turf houses) are teeny - 1 bedroom house had nowhere to put luggage nor any cabinets to unpack. Bathroom had no place for toiletries. Minimal personal items such as no conditioner, no robes, no slippers. The advertised private thermal pools are actually shared with two other units. Since so little needed to be done to upgrade comfort, this could have been a 5-star experience, but didn’t quite feel that way. "

"We started our Iceland holiday with first 2 nights stay at cabin 5A. I’m glad we did as it set the bar really high and at the end of our 9 day trip, the family unanimously agreed this was our favourite accommodation in the entire trip! Cabin had everything we needed, extremely clean, hosts were v responsive, and being in open lands (yet near enough to nearby towns), we were treated to 2 nights of auroras when we were there!! The hot tub brought so much joy too, can’t wait to be back! "

"Beautiful little cabin with everything we needed. Lovely view and very central to the area. It gets hot in the summer and if there is no wind I would be a bit worried about the bugs, but because it was windy they left us alone with the windows open. I’d recommend a screen window or door to aid this. Also the door to the bathroom needs a new sliding rail or something. Had to practically lift it to move."

"My little cottage was private and comfortable. It was super quiet and had a peek-a-boo view of the fjord through the trees. I loved the trails on the property. Being a bird watcher, I appreciated that my cabin had a bird identification book. The bathroom was snug but functional. "
