"The Hekla Cabins are three, wonderful little cabins just off one of the main roads through the area. The cabin comfortably fit two, but there's a pullout couch (at least in Cabin One) for an additional sleeper. The kitchen has a small fridge and a stovetop, and the bathroom has a shower with plenty of hot water (WiFi was also available). The view from the cabin is of a BEAUTIFUL Icelandic landscape, even in the winter; I imagine the greenery in the summer is that much more stunning. The only...

"Overall was very good"

"My little cottage was private and comfortable. It was super quiet and had a peek-a-boo view of the fjord through the trees. I loved the trails on the property. Being a bird watcher, I appreciated that my cabin had a bird identification book. The bathroom was snug but functional. "

"We started our Iceland holiday with first 2 nights stay at cabin 5A. I’m glad we did as it set the bar really high and at the end of our 9 day trip, the family unanimously agreed this was our favourite accommodation in the entire trip! Cabin had everything we needed, extremely clean, hosts were v responsive, and being in open lands (yet near enough to nearby towns), we were treated to 2 nights of auroras when we were there!! The hot tub brought so much joy too, can’t wait to be back! "

Host/Team is very responsive in helping us with the check-in etc. Very functional home - easy to cook and wash up in the kitchen the Icelandic chocolate snack is a thoughtful touch. "More of a basic cabin than anything. No dishwasher or TV, but great place to view auroras and surrounding scenery a few km from Hofn. Beds comfortable but needs some more (or bigger) pillows."
