Hunter Valley, New South Wales hotel rooms at the Independent

"We stayed for 2 nights and it was very comfortable. The bed was big and very good. We had a very good view at the back and nice to sit there for a drink. The furniture could be a bit upgraded but was ok. Very nice breakfast every morning and one night we had a meal at the pub. And that was quite good although a bit pricey for what it was. We enjoyed our stay very much. Probably come back another time."

"Had such a great time staying here for a romantic anniversary trip away. The check self check in was simple and easy, plenty of parking right by our room. The room itself was so lovely, and we enjoyed the additional organic breakfast items we had available to us for a quick meal before heading out. We especially appreciated the help we received from the staff. We attended a concert near by and had issues with our uber cancelling, stuck waiting for over an hour and a half with no way back. "The rooms are very spacious and overlook the surrounding bushland. The restaurant and bar are excellent, and breakfast is very good. There is a lot of walking space around the property and lead to a very nice pool. Great place for families or just two people."
