From the adjacent highway, notice the façade of concrete rising above the trees. Squares and decorative lines form patterns in the front, while large and elaborate posters advertising the latest shows drape the sides. Inspect the intriguing sculptures on campus and hear the songs and dramatic lines of drama students practicing behind the walls.
To watch the students in action, choose from the program of dance, Chinese opera, dramas and music concerts. These are held in the HK Jockey Club Amphitheatre, the Academy Atrium/Foyer and the Academy Concert Hall, among other venues in the college.
Appreciate the excellent acoustics and views from throughout the auditoriums. Purchase snacks and drinks from a bar at the intermission. Bring your little ones to some of the fun shows created for kids.
At any time, the university has over 800 students working on undergraduate and postgraduate diplomas. Chat with current students about famous alumni, including actors Athena Chu and Anthony Wong. Director Alan Mak and singer Gigi Lai are among other icons to have passed through this facility.
