The tube is about 0.4 miles away, so a little walk but not bad. Our only gripe was the soap pumps didn't work in the bathroom and you couldn't take off the top. Also, ask for a higher up room, or one on the backside to avoid the traffic noise of the Strand on the front side of the hotel."
