"Mr Truong the Guest House proprietor was very helpful throughout my stay and arranged 2 enjoyable day excursions for me.The accomodation whilst tucked away down a small side alley is only approx a 40 minute walk or 5 min taxi ride from the Centre of Ninh Binh.There is a small supermarket on the main road virtually in front of the Guest House.I would recommend the De-lux rooms as the size is almost double that of standard.Breakfast can be ordered but I did not need it so cannot comment on the...

"Amazing hotel! We had such an awesome stay with such a cool view! We were treated with such kindness by Dzung and his wife. They were so gracious, charming and helpful. He provided us so much helpful information about the town and activities, loaned us bikes to use for the day, and they made us a great breakfast every day. "We had such an amazing time staying here ! The receptionist, Sien, was so helpful and sweet. I believe the reception desk is staffed 24 hours, she was there when we got in late and at breakfast as well. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay. "Very friendly and welcoming family and staff. Clean comfortable rooms with great views. It was cold when we were there so having the aircon switched to heating was a boon. The food was good and filling which was appreciated, as the nearest restaurants and shops are 10 minutes walk away. Breakfasts are freshly prepared but as this is a small hotel it is not buffet style, it is nonetheless filling and tasty. Bikes and motorcycles are available for hire at the hotel. "

We cannot set the temperature in our room. We called reception few time throughout the night to set the temperature cooler and they cannot do it. The staff are incredibly kind and generous: the concierge took time out of his day to drive me somewhere quiet for a scooter-riding lesson and handled getting me on a sleeper train to Da Nang.
