The staff also made great drinks and food was excellent at the hotel. It is by far the most luxurious option in Galapagos. While some write about it being a higher price point, it is fully worth it for the level of service, cleanness of rooms, quality of food and hotel. "What a perfect way to experience the Galapagos islands! So happy my wife and I chose Semilla Verde Boutique Hotel over a hotel in the town. The grounds are wonderful. We walked the paths and saw the tortoises multiple times per day. It was an easy 10 minute taxi into town for tours, restaurants and other activity when we needed it. "Staff were really warm and courteous, I arrived really early and was allowed to store my luggage. The room was spacious and had a balcony which was perfect for relaxing and drying snorkel gear if you got any too. Breakfast is a voucher for the restaurant next door - Lo Lo which was quite nice (you get a choice of american breakfast or can ask for Bolon). Had it once which was alright - still great value. The bed was comfortable and staff cleaned it daily. Also good location near the ferry...

"Owner is very courteous and friendly, I arrived to the airport at San Cristobal and he personally received me and my girlfriend at the airport and took us to the hotel. Very nice guy, overall it’s a decent place to stay. Nothing luxurious but basic to take a shower and sleep."
