This hotel is a secluded gem that is easy to drive to. Nestled right up against Miraveilles Volcano, it is very close to a lot of fun volcano tours, mud baths, and zip lines. The family that runs the hotel and restaurant are very friendly and welcoming. The food is traditional, delicious Costa Rican food and has enough variety that you could easily eat here for a week without repeating meals. The breakfast that comes with your stay is delicious. The cabins are gorgeous and the pictures don't do them justice. They are clean, quiet, and comfortable. Very nice inside with comfy beds. They let us help to milk the cows for breakfast and then we ate fresh yogurt made from our efforts. This is a lovely place that doesn't feel too Americanized but is clean, gorgeous, has delicious food. They have really pretty, clean hot pools fed by geothermal heat from the volcano. We spent much time there relaxing after our adventurous days. We absolutely loved it!
