"This is the cutest little place. It is quaint and the staff was great. It's a studio type room, but it's clean and the view of the ocean was amazing. A/c, tv, internet all worked well. Close to shopping and restaurants. It's not fancy, but it is incredibly charming. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a safe, quiet, clean room with some beautiful views. "

"Amazing view, loved the style with dark wood trim/doors, arches and turret windows. Comfy bed, soft sheets, loved the stone patio and nooks. Had a grwat breeze and no need for a/c. Slept with windows open and could here the wind, waves, birds and frogs. Great time, so relaxing."

"All of the employees/owners are great and very flexible. We went to multiple hotels throughout our trip and this was the most flexible and communicative hotel we stayed at! Room is spacious and has a couch/tv area. It is also located close to town - as long as you are comfortable walking 1/2 a mile, it’s very easy to get a taxi. It is pricer in general but affordable for St John!"

"Our stay here was lovely. Hospitality was truly excellent. Breakfast served everyday with a beautiful view of the bay. My 2 suggestions are truly personal and are just comfort features 1. A full length mirror somewhere 2. Use of a coffee pot when caretakers are not present. I would definitely recommend!"

"No hot water, only luke warm. Could never get new pool towels, the attendant was either not there or they had no towels. Everything else was great. Quiet, safe, fairly conveniently located to other things on the island if you have a car. The hilltop pool area is absolutely beautiful. "

"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location was excellent, and the property exuded a quaint and charming atmosphere. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a welcoming and pleasant experience, showcasing exceptional kindness and hospitality. The rooms were not only comfortable and well-appointed but also reflected the overall charm of the hotel. What truly impressed me, however, was a touching act of compassion from one of the staff members. When she discovered an abandoned cat in a nearby dumpster, she took it upon herself to rescue the animal, giving it a thorough cleaning and even taking it home for the night. This act of kindness speaks volumes about the values of the hotel's management—not only do they prioritize the comfort of their guests, but they also demonstrate genuine care for animals. A special shout-out to Scrappy, who oversaw the management of our section of the property. Scrappy ensured everything was in perfect order! Thank you to the entire team for creating such a warm and memorable experience! "

"I’d read beforehand this place had character and boy does it! It is anything but a cookie-cutter franchise hotel. Not only is it nestled into the heart of Charlotte-Amalie, but its floor-plan is as varied and meandering as the winding streets of the neighborhood in which it resides. Beware that the road it’s on is one-way, and that the direction changes for a couple hours in the early evening; Google can’t be trusted to catch that nuance. The staff were all super friendly and welcoming. It made for a very memorable stay and my wife and I loved it."

"Besides the phenomenal view from our balcony, we enjoyed the spacious 1-bedroom suite equipped with a sofa bed and kitchenette. The room and view exceeded our expectations. The staff were also very helpful. The walk downtown was only 10-min although the hill was very steep and requires one to be physically fit. We actually enjoyed the workout. We wanted to be near downtown but the trade off was that we needed to travel to the beach. "
