"We had a wonderful family reunion over Midsummer holiday. Our hosts greeted us at the door for a brief tour and instructions, then sat patiently with my 81 year old mother listening to her explain family photos. My adult children played together like they were kids again and we feasted on a beautifully prepared holiday meal as a family. "Everything was excellent with the exception of the noise that the very heavy doors to the roommate as people were coming back in at night the walls would shake and the noise would be like someone slamming doors. This went on for about an hour repeatedly. Otherwise the staff was wonderful the accommodations were great the breakfast was one of the best ever and they had other options for playing pool and shuffleboard they had a bar and a dining room as well as a small area at reception if you wanted drinks and snacks as well. It had a great location within walking distance of several restaurants and stores"

"Beautiful views of Lake Siljan. Lovely well situated hotel. Beautiful and classic design with furniture and layout. Lovely sauna suite with view from sauna. Great breakfast. The only thing to mention is only one vegetarian/vegan option at dinner that wasn't up to scratch. But according to my travel partner the other dishes were excellent. "
