"Fridge was not very cold and technician said they were all like that. Radiators don't come on until 1800, had to wear a jumper in room during day. No kettle, tea, coffee in room. Bus stops nearby but bus system is very confusing. Hot food in palace restaurant was lukewarm with no microwave available but there was plenty of choice. The rooms and the hotel was kept very clean. "We really enjoyed our stay at Melia Benidorm – It’s got a great feel to it with a lovely pool area, just a couple of minor issues. Housekeeping could have been a bit better, as used cups and glasses in the room weren’t washed or replaced regularly, and toilet rolls weren’t replenished until there was about 5 sheets left!. "I loved the hotel, it was beautiful. The staff were very helpful taking my mobility scooter backwards and forwards tonthe parking area. However i was disappointed and surprised that i had to pay €6 a day to park my scooter at the hotel and was not permitted to have in the hotel itself which was difficult to manage as i have very limited mobility and found it very difficult walking around such a large hotel without it."
